  • What should I do if I feel a hot spot or a blister coming?
No worry! We will be arranging a series of ultra running clinics during this 8 months to prepare you for the race.

To kick off the first ultra clinic, we are proud to bring to you our Malaysian legendary ultra-marathoner Mr. Ng Seow Kong to Penang on this coming Chinese New Year holidays.

Mr Ng is borned in Kedah, humble and passionate about running. He lived in Penang from age of 11 to 20 years old before he furthered his studies in New Zealand. Currently his base is in Shanghai.

Awarded 4X Malaysia Book of Records holder on First Malaysian to run :-
  • Highest marathon in the world ~ Tenzing Hillary Everest Marathon in Nepal on 29 May, 2006. (starting from the base camp at 5,300 metres altitude)
  • North Pole Marathon - April 2007
  • Antarctica Ice Marathon in 2007
  • Marathons on 7 continents and North Pole on 5 October, 2008 ~ The 29th member of Grand Slam Club.

He also finished the Great Wall Marathon in China in May 2005 in exactly 6 hours and a mountain marathon in Hangzhou, China in 8 hours. He is also second for the 2012 La Ultra-The High in Himalayas of 222km in 42 hours 5 minutes.

In 2013, he completed the world toughest foot race Badwater Ultramarathon of 135-mile with elevation of 8,360 feet and temperature up to 55 degree C on a good day in Death Valley, California, USA.

We are inspired by his passion and his willingness to share his experiences and knowledge in ultra races.

He is the best person to share with us on how to get ourself prepared for the ultramarathon races especially on the hydration, nutrition and various race trips.

This will be a workshop type of discussion. You are encourage to come with the gear you plan to use and your plan for hydration, nutrition at the aid stations. You can even bring along your back pack, watch, salt tablets, headlamp, trekking poles, energy drinks and etc.

We strongly believe that this clinic will provide you with valuable insights and get you to the finished line.

This ultra running clinic is free of charge.
